During my recent walking holiday on the Malerweg, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Garni Dekorahaus, and it was an absolute delight! The spacious and impeccably clean rooms made it a cozy retreat after a day of hiking, and I adored the hearty buffet breakfast-plenty of fresh fruits and veggies to fuel our adventures. The friendly staff was a definite highlight, offering us handy tips for our trekking routes and even gifting us a free public transport card for the area. We were just 1.5 km from the beautiful banks of the River Elbe, perfect for a leisurely evening stroll. the ability to pack a lunch for just 8 euros was a lifesaver for our long hikes. If you're into nature and enjoy exploring, this place is a winner!
